As the Senior Director of Sales Operations, Mike Wegbreit is responsible for the quote-to-cash Sales process and driving top-of-funnel growth.
In 2015, Mike saw a ripe opportunity to disrupt the multi-billion-dollar networking market. While it was Cumulus’ lead over the competition which initially sparked Mike’s interest in Cumulus, ultimately, it was the senior leadership team and collaborative atmosphere that convinced Mike to join.
As a coach and a manager, Mike seeks candidates who take an active interest in enhancing their skills through continuous learning. While Mike challenges his team to set ambitious goals, he gives them the tools and feedback they need to achieve those goals. Team members tend to be highly customer-centric, action-oriented, and self-motivated. With an emphasis on driving incremental improvements throughout the customer lifecycle, Mike and his team work cross-functionally with each department at Cumulus. Mike provides clarity for his team by articulating the departmental vision and linking the vision to corresponding goals, objectives, activities, and metrics. Each member knows his/her part and how each role supports the company’s goals.
Outside of work, Mike spends time with his family attending his kids’ sporting events. When he isn’t spending time with his family, he is either reading historical biographies or riding his mountain bike in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
