Webinar: VRF for Linux
Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) provides traffic isolation at layer 3 for routing, similar to how you use VLANs to isolate traffic at layer 2. VRF is a fundamental feature for a network OS which has been around for nearly 2 decades, and yet only recently gained a formal implementation for the networking stack. Cumulus Networks played a large role in making this happen and is continually improving the functionality of Linux. Watch this webinar to hear from two Linux networking gurus — David Ahern (who implemented the kernel patches for VRF) and Donald Sharp (the lead maintainer for the FRRouting protocol suite) — who will give a refresher on the kernel / OS piece to VRF, discuss FRRouting and its latest features (such as VRF route leaking) and dive into how to use VRF for troubleshooting.
